After working with Boeing in manufacturing engineering, he experienced the kind of corporate burnout that many people in the Seattle area know all too well. Around that time, a friend who was a realtor asked for help fixing up a home before putting it on the market.
John stepped in, got to work, and quickly realized something important. He was not just capable of doing the work. He genuinely enjoyed it. Within 3 months, he scaled his rate from 30 dollars per hour to 50 dollars per hour in the year 2000. More importantly, he found a path that allowed him to work directly with homeowners and see the results of his effort in real time.
From that first project in the Seattle area to serving homes across the Olympic Peninsula, Ready Remodeling grew from word of mouth and a reputation for getting the job done right.
